Way 2 Freshers

IGNOU will conduct entrance examinations on February 13 for admission to the following programmes for the July 2011 session: Management programmes (OpenMAT-xxix); PG Certificate in Oral Implantology & PG Certificate in Endodontics (OpenDen-iii); B.Ed. Special Education (BEDSE) and M.Ed Special Education (MEDSE).

While the OpenMAT- xxviii exam will be held from 10 am to 1 pm, OpenDen, BEDSE & MEDSE examinations will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm.

The entrance exams will be held in 143 examination centres, accommodating 25,338 candidates. The hall tickets have already been dispatched to the candidates by the University.

The particulars of the hall tickets are also available on www.ignou.ac.in . In case of non-receipt of the hall ticket, candidates can download the same from the IGNOU website by entering their Name and Date of Birth and report to the examination centre.

In case the candidates are unable to download the hall ticket, they can contact their respective Regional Centres and obtain the examination centre allocated to them. In this case, candidates must report to the examination centre with a proof of submission of entrance test application form, along with a recent passport size photograph. Candidates will also have to submit an undertaking at the examination centre stating that if the information furnished by them is found to be incorrect, their candidature will be cancelled.

Candidates must report at the examination centre 45 minutes before the commencement of the exam. The University has deputed central observers in all the 143 examination centres to ensure smooth conduct of the entrance test.
