Gujarat Government successfully launched web based on-line admissions in association with National Informatics Centre (NIC), New Delhi. In the year 2010-11, admission for more than 95000 seats in 277 institutes including the TFW super numerary seats of Diploma/Degree Engineering and Pharmacy courses were done by the Committee. In addition to these the Committee granted admissions to the candidates in the seats under J & K Migrant quota. The Committee also monitored the admission process for the Management Quota seats of various Self Financed Institutes effectively. Admission process for the Diploma to Degree (Lateral Entry) scheme of AICTE was also conducted by the Committee.
