FACULTY POSITIONS
The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIML), established by the Government of India, is one of the premier business schools in the country offering post-graduate and doctoral programmes in management.
Applications are invited for faculty positions in the following areas:
Agri-Business Management Information Technology and Systems
Decision Sciences (Statistics/ O.R.) Marketing
Economics & Business Environment Operations Management
Finance and Accounting Strategy & Entrepreneurship
Human Resource Management Communication
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Assistant Professor - Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and at least three years industrial/ research/ teaching experience.
Associate Professor – Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 8 years experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
Professor- Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 10 years experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor.
Contractual appointments are admissible.
SCALE OF PAY AND OTHER BENEFITS*
Assistant Professor : Rs. 12,000 – 420 – 18,300
Associate Professor : Rs. 16,400 – 450 – 20,000
Professor : Rs. 18,400 – 500 – 22,400
(*) subject to revision as per VIth Pay Commission recommendations, as and when adopted by GOI
Dearness and other allowances are same as those applicable to educational Institutes supported by MHRD,Government of India. Retirement benefits and Leave Travel Concession are as per Government of India norms.
Faculty members are provided a liberal book/ computer grant. Funding is also available to support research and other academic activities, and to attend national/ International conferences. Faculty members are permitted to pursue industry consulting with income sharing with the Institute as per rules. There is provision to additional compensation for teaching in management development programs subject to fulfilling the norms.
Accommodation will be provided at Lucknow campus subject to availability.
