Job Description : Applications are invited for the following posts :

Scientist C (Medical – General Medicine/ Pharmacology) : 01 post (UR)
Pay Band : Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.6600
Qualification : MBBS degree

Scientist B (Medical – Pediatrics) : 01 post (OBC)
Pay Band : Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400
Qualification : MBBS degree.

Scientist B (Medical – Microbiology) : 01 post (OBC)
Pay Band : Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400
Qualification : MBBS degree.

Scientist B (Electron Microscopy) : 01 post (OBC)
Pay Band : Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400
Qualification : First class Master’s degree in Botany/ Zoology/ Molecular Biology/ Other Life sciences or equivalent. OR Second class Master’s Degree in Boatany/ Zoology/ Molecular Biology/ other life sciences or relevant with Ph.D. degree or equivalent.

Scientist B (Veterinary Science) : 01 post (UR)
Pay Band : Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400
Qualification : First class Master’s Degree in Veterinary Science or relevant subject OT Second class Master’s Degree in Veterinary Science or relevant subjects with Ph.D. degree.

Scientist B (Statistics) : 01 post (ST)
Pay Band : Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400
Qualification : First class Master’s Degree in Statistics with first class relevant degree or 3 years research/ teaching experience in related discipline as evidenced by publications in peer reviewed Journals and Knowledge of Computer application.

Scientist B (Food Science/ Bio Chemistry / Organic Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry) : 01 post (OBC)
Pay Band : Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400
Qualification : First class Master’s Degree in Food Science/ Bio-chemistry/ Organic Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry or relevant subjects or equivalent OR Second Class Master’s degree in any of the above subjects with Ph.D. Degree or equivalent.

Age : 40 years for Scientist C and 35 years for Scientist B. Relaxation in age as per rules of Govt. of India.

Application fee : Rs.100/- in the form of DD in favour of Director, National Institute of Nutrition payable at Hyderabad.
