Admission Test 2006

NUJS is a premier University for legal studies and research. It provides for experience based

learning under multi- disciplinary curriculum and imparts clinical method of teaching

Eligibility
- B.Sc/ B.A. L.L.B. (Hons.) : Five years course, 125 seats( 78 General,15 reserved for SC,8 for ST, 2 for physically handicapped,4 for Foreign Nationals and 18 for NRI sponsored students.)Minimum Eligibility: 12th standard with 50% marks in aggregate and 35% in each subject. Those appearing for qualifying exam by April, 2006 may also apply. National Admission Test at major cities. Age limit: 21 years (22 years for SC/ST) as on 31.12.2006.

Admission test - Admission is based on merit in a National Admission Test, which will be held on
January 30 2005
at centres in the following cities -
Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, and Mumbai.

Application Procedure

L.L.M.:
2 years.

Previous years’ LLB Admission Test papers available for Rs. 300 by D.D. favouring NUJS, Kolkata. By post Rs. 50 extra

Brochure containing application form will be available from the Registrar of the University from 15.11.2005 up to 21/12/2005 on all days(excepting Wednesdays) on payment of Rs.800.00(Rs.850.00 by post) by Demand Draft/Pay Order favouring NUJS, Kolkata, payable at Kolkata. Form selling: 9.30 am to 1.30 pm. Form receiving: 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.(excepting Sundays)

Bank loans available for studying at NUJS. For economically challenged meritorious students NUJS offers some financial assistance.
