About NLU:
The Academic and Debating Society of Chanakya National Law University, Patna shall be hosting 2nd Shilesh Chandra Mishra Parliamentary Debate competition. The Competition will be organised in keeping with our institution’s aim of pursuing and nurturing excellence in every field and we hope to attract teams from all over India. It is from 08 February to 10 February, 2010.
Introduction:
The Second Shilesh Chandra Mishra National Parliamentary Debate Competition will be organised by Chanakya National Law University, Patna. It will be a 3 on 3 parliamentary style debate similar to Asians format. Each institution can send up to 2 teams, each consisting of 3 speakers and an accompanying adjudicator. All participants who register as speakers will be required to show proof of enrolment in the Colleges / Universities that they represent. The registration fees is Rs. 500 per individual which covers accommodation, food and refreshments for all 4 days of the debate.
Eligibility: All UG and PG students.
Fee Details: The details of the registration fees that will have to be paid at the introductory briefing on the first day of the four-day debate are as follows: Out-station teams: INR 500 per individual. Local team: INR 200 per individual (without accommodation)
Deadline:
The last date of registration is 20th January, 2010, after which the registration for all the teams will be closed. Institute can register its team by sending confirmation mail at adc4cnlu@gmail.com .
