Introduction
Prospectus for the admission to the Diploma courses 2010-11, which has been approved by the Government of Kerala, is published herewith. It contains general information and rules related to the admission and other connected matters. Candidates are required to go through the prospectus carefully and acquaint themselves with all the relevant information relating the admission. Prospectuses issued for earlier years are not valid for the year 2010-11. The prospectus sets out the rules and regulations for the selection and admission for the Six Semester Diploma courses conducted by various Polytechnic Colleges under the Department of Technical Education within the state of Kerala. Admissions to these courses are regulated on the basis of merit as assessed by giving weightage to the marks/grades obtained in the qualifying examination. This Prospectus is subject to modification/addition/deletion as may be deemed necessary by the Government. The selection of candidates to Polytechnic colleges will be done district wise. The submission of applications will be “Online”. (See Clause 8). Candidates can use single application for submitting applications for any number of districts.

I am worked in Saudi Arabia. My son Nikhilnath applied for the admission of Polytechnic ( Computer science) and optioned at Ernakulam second Idukky. Now he is Trail Allottement listed at Kumaly Polytechnic. He is stayed at North Parvur, Ernakulam District. What we do for transfer his allottement to Kalamasserry, or Chalakudy or Perumbavoor. Kindly advise through my E Mail. Kindly note that nobody can advise or accommpanied to him. He only doing himself as per my advise from Saudi Arabia.
