Punjab Technical University (PTU) CET 2009: B.Tech, B. Pharma Admissions
PTU will conduct Combined Entrance Test (CET) 2009 for Admission in B.Tech, B. Pharma in in Engineering / Pharmacy colleges affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar / Punjabi University, Patiala / Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Down load brochure.
Last Date for application is April 20, 2009 (5 pm). The exam will be conducted on May 03, 2009.
Universities/Institutions which accepts PTU CET Score:
* Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar
* Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar
* Punjabi University, Patiala
* Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana and B. Pharmacy in Colleges affiliated to PTU Jalandhar only.
PTU CET is only meant for 85% quota of students of Punjab. Candidate from outside Punjab (15% category) shall be admitted in above Universities / Colleges through AIEEE-09 merit list. Detailed information shall be available at www.ptu.ac.in.

Eligibility Criteria
For eligibility for 85% seats category candidates should be a resident of Punjab State in terms of Punjab Govt., Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (PP II Branch) letter no. 1/3/95-3PP II/9619 dated 6th June 1996 and letter no. 1/3/95-3PP II / 81 dated 1st Jan 1999 OR Should have passed 10+1 and 10+2 examination as a regular candidate from recognized institution situated in Punjab. Each candidate would be required to submit a certificate to this effect from the Principal / Head of Institution last attended in the prescribed performa.
Note: The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination shall also be eligible to appear in the Entrance Test. The admission of such candidates to the Entrance Test shall be purely provisional and shall stand cancelled, if they fail to produce their eligibility at the time of counselling.
