Admission is made on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CET), conducted by Punjab University for admission to BE/ BTech/ BArch courses in its Colleges/Department of Chemical Engineering & Technology; Punjab Engineering College.

Eligibility : 10+2 (Science Stream) exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or its equivalent from a recognised Board. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exam are also eligible.

Admission Procedure : Application form and prospectus can be obtained from – Registrar, Punjab University, Chandigarh or Secretary, Publication Bureau, Punjab University, Chandigarh or College Office. Completed applications with test fee should reach the Assistant Registrar (CET), Punjab University by the notified date usually in the month of March/ April.

Selection : Selection is on the basis of merit in CET conducted in Phy. Chem. and Maths. The test centres are at Chandigarh, Delhi and Ludhiana. Candidates for BArch course are also required to appear in aptitude test. The merit list is notified in local newspapers/colleges. Candidates whose names are listed in the merit list are required to appear for counseling on the specified dates.
