LIC AAO Recruitment 2010 Application Forms

Life Insurance Corporation of India invites On-line Applications from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment to the following posts of Assistant Administrative Officer. Candidates are requested to apply only On-Line between 22nd November, 2010 and 14th December, 2010 No other means/mode of application will be accepted.

How to Apply (for all posts)
Candidates are necessarily required to register On-line for applying and are required to have a valid e-mail identification. No other means/mode of applications will be accepted. Candidates can register on-line only after obtaining a receipt for payment of application fee , wherever applicable, at the cash collection centre of LIC. If not, applications shall be invalid. Eligible candidates are required to log in to the designated website http://jobs.licindia.co.in for submission of applications on-line. While filling the ‘Fee Details’ in the online application form, candidates are required to enter and check the following:
(i) LIC Branch Code (Upper Left Hand Corner of the Miscellaneous Receipt) – Maximum 4 characters(Alpha Numeric).
(ii) Miscellaneous Collection Number – Maximum 6 Digits (appearing in the shaded portion of the Box).
(iii) Transaction Number (Tr. No.) – Maximum 8 Digits (appearing on the Left Hand Corner of the Receipt).
(iv) Transaction Date (appearing on the Upper Left Hand Corner of the Receipt) A specimen of the Miscellaneous Receipt showing the above fields is shown below for reference.
Fields marked * are required to be filled in the on-line application. Correct Branch Code & Date of deposit of application money should be selected from the Drop down Boxes.
On successful acceptance of appropriate validations in the online application form, candidates will be given a Unique Application Registration Number. Candidates should note/remember this Registration Number for future references and use , pertaining to this recruitment. Candidates should note that the registration process will not be complete unless they get a confirmation. On getting a confirmation from the system candidates are required to obtain two print outs of their application form which shall be required at the time of written test/interview. A copy of the Registered Application shall be sent to the individual mail-id. Please note that the above procedure is the only procedure for applying. Physical mode of application or incomplete application would not be accepted and if submitted, such application would be rejected outrightly. Procedure for filling up of applications on-line is briefed below:
a) Read the Employment Notification thoroughly.
b) Approach the nearest LIC Collection Centre for payment of Application Fees, if applicable.
c) Check the Miscellaneous Receipt obtained at the Collection Centre and ensure that the same is in order.
d) Log on to the designated website http://jobs.licindia.co.in for online filling up of application. Enter all information. See that all mandatory fields are completed.
e) Check your application form properly before clicking on the relevant button for submission of application.
f) Ensure that the system informs you that you have completed the procedure for submission of application completely.
g) Take two print outs of the registered application form and preserve the same till completion of final selection process. Candidates can log on for Registration of Applications on the dates given below:

SCHEME OF ‘LIC GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP’ FOR STUDENTS BELONGING TO THE ECONOMICALLY WEAKER FAMILIES FOR PURSUING HIGHER STUDIES.

1. OBJECTIVE

The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of society so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.

2. SCOPE

The scholarship is to be awarded for studies in India in a government or private
college/university,. It will also cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes at Graduation level.

3. ELIGIBILITY</strong>

Students who have passed Class XII exam or its equivalent “Academic Year 2009-10″ and are interested to pursue higher education in the field of -
a) Engineering
b) Medicine
c) Arts/Science/Commerce
d) Diploma Cources in any field and
e) Any Vocational course which leads to immediate employment and where minimum education qualification stipulated is plus 2

Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 60% marks or equivalent grade in the Class 12 or its equivalent final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs60,000/ per annum.

4. DURATION

Scholarship shall be provided for the entire course.

5. RATE OF SCHOLARSHIP
10,000/- per annum, ` 1000/ payable monthly for ten months by Cheques to the Beneficiary.

6. CONDITIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIP

(i) Scholarship shall be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 60% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs.60,000/ per annum. Students having the lowest family income shall be given preference in the ascending order.

(ii) The scholarship shall be discontinued if a student fails to secure 50% in B.A./B.COM. and 55% marks in other streams or equivalent grade, in the previous final examination of the course for which scholarship is awarded. Scholarship shall not be awarded for more than the normal period of time taken to obtain certificate/degree.

(iii) Scholarship shall not be given to more than one student in a family.

(iv) The students should be regular in attendance for which the yardstick shall be decided by the competent authority of the school/college/university.

(v) Income certificate should be on self-certification basis by way of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper for self-employed parents and from employer for employed parents supported by documents such as land held by revenue department in the name of parents.

(vi) If a student violates any other term and condition of the scholarship, the scholarship may be suspended or cancelled.

(vii) If a student is found to have obtained a scholarship by false statement/certificates, his/her scholarship shall be cancelled forthwith and the amount of the scholarship paid shall be recovered, at the discretion of the concerned Divisional Administration of LIC.

(viii) LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation will lay down the detailed procedure for processing and sanctioning of scholarships to eligible students.

(ix) The scheme shall be evaluated at regular intervals by the LICGJF.

(x) The regulations can be changed at any time at the discretion of the Board of Trustees of LICGJF

7. RENEWAL OF SCHOLARSHIP

The scholarship, once awarded, may be renewed during the next academic year of the course on the production of certificate that the student has secured 50% in B.A./B.COM. and 55% marks in other streams or equivalent grade in the examination.

8. MODE OF APPLYING

Last date for online application is 31st October 2010.

Who can apply?

Only candidates who have passed Class XII Exam in Academic Year 2008-09 with at least 60% of marks, and family income of Rs.60,000/- and below per annum need apply.
