ICSSR Fellowships for PhD holders
ICSSR invites proposals for financial support through Fellowships in three categories, Doctoral, General (PDF – Post Doctoral Fellowship) and Senior Fellowships. Research proposals may be of the social science disciplines or may be interdisciplinary in nature.

Pay scale: Rs.12,000/- p.m + Contingency Rs.10,000/- p.a

General Fellowships
Pay scale
Rs.18,000/- p.m + Contingency Rs.30,000/- p.a
Senior Fellowships
Pay scale
Rs.20,000/- p.m + Contingency Rs.50,000/- p.a

Recognized disciplines:

Economics/ Commerce/ Management/ Business Administration
Sociology and Social Anthropology/ Social Work/ Demography/ Gender Studies
Political Science/ International Relations/ Geography/ Public Administration
Psychology/ Education/ Criminology
Other – Linguistics/ Law etc

For fellowships a scholar must have Ph.D. Degree or equivalent publication and the CV must indicate capability of independent research;
