Indian Audit and Accounts Department, Jammu & Kashmir invites eligible candidates for Direct Recruitment to the posts of Multi – Tasking Staff (MTS). The details of the vacancies are given below:

Multi – Tasking Staff : 92posts

Candidates should be 10th class pass as on 01/07/2011.
Note 1: In case of casual workers engaged in IA & AD, the maximum required educational qualification could be 8th class pass. However if recruited these candidates would be appointed to Pay Band-IS. For confirmation following conditions will have to be fulfilled:
i) Candidates should be 10th pass from any recognized Board of educational/ National Open School.
ii) Candidate should be 10th pass within a period of two years. Failure to do so shall entertain termination of services.
iii) They would also have to undergo prescribed multi skilling training. On confirmation, they would be placed in Pay Band 1 with grade pay of Rs.1800/-. Period spent in pay band IS will not be counted as service for seniority etc.
Note 2: Those candidates who do not fulfill the minimum educational qualification as on 1/7/2011 are not eligible and need not apply. The certificate in support of minimum educational qualification should be from a recognized Board.
AGE LIMIT: a) The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.

i) The application should be made on a good quality white paper of A4 size (210 mmx 297 mm) using One side only. Candidates have to fill up required information with Blue/Black Pen/Ball Point Pen in his/her own handwriting. The application form should be filled in either English or in Hindi and not in any other language. The application has to be duly dated and signed by the candidate. Signature of the applicant must be specific so that same may not be copied easily.

ii) Candidates should mention “Application for Posts of MTS in Pay Band 1 and carrying Grade pay of Rs. 1800/-“on the top of the envelope containing the application. Each envelope should contain one application only. In case more than one application is sent in one cover, all such applications will be rejected.

iii) The candidate should send the duly filled application, along with two unstamped self addressed envelopes (size 27cmx 12cm) and required documents, by Ordinary Post or drop in the collection box kept in both the offices of Jammu(Canal Road, Shakti Nagar, Jammu) and Srinagar (M.Y. Rather Avenue, Opposite Civil Secretariat Srinagar). Application received after 4.30 pm on due date for any reason what so ever will not be considered. Speed post courier / registered AD envelopes will not be accepted. The application should be address to SR. Audit Officer (Administration), Office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit), M.Y.
