POST : Company Secretary (AGM/JGM/ DGM scale of pay)

Pay Scale & Grade : Rs. 36600- 62000 (E6) / Rs. 32900- 58000 (E5)/ Rs.29100- 54500 (E4) depending on the experience & suitability of the candidate.

Essential qualifications :

Essential :- Associate Company Secretaryship/ Fellow Company Secretaryship. Degree in Law.

Desirable :- CA/ICWA/ MBA will be an added advantage.

Experience :

Minimum 14 yrs./ 12 yrs./ 10 years post qualification experience of ACS/FCS as on 01.08.2010 as Asst. Company Secretary or/and Deputy Company Secretary or/and Company Secretary in practice in any Government/ Public Sector/ Autonomous body/ MNCs or organization of repute. For those working in of Public Sector /Govt organizations, minimum two years experience in the immediate lower scale for the post applied for.For candidates from MNCs/ Private organizations, candidates should have two years experience at minimum CTC of Rs.6 Lakhs (approx.) per annum.

Age Limit : 45 Years

Compensation package :-
i.IDA Pay Scale for E-6 (AGM) grade – Rs. 36,600-62,000/-
ii.IDA Pay Scale for E-5 (JGM) grade – Rs. 32,900-58,000/-.
iii.IDA Pay Scale for E-4 (DGM) grade – Rs. 29,100-54,500/-.
iv.The total approx. CTC would be Rs 9.4 lakhs approx for DGM grade, Rs 10.55 lakhs approx for JGM grade or Rs 11.64 lakhs approx for AGM grade.

The elected candidate will be paid Dearness Allowance (DA) and other admissible perks and allowances limited to 50% of basic pay which will be payable as per the rules of IRCTC depending upon the place of posting. In addition leased accommodation (in lieu of HRA), Indoor Medical facilities etc are also admissible as per the rules of IRCTC.

SELECTION PROCEDURE : The selection for the posts will be on the basis of qualification, experience & performance of the candidate in the interview. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms do not entitle the candidate to be called for interview. IRCTC reserves the right to call only the requisite number of candidates for interview after preliminary screening/short listing with reference to the candidate’s qualification, suitability etc. However, the IRCTC reserves the right to conduct the written examination in case the number of applications received from eligible candidates is reasonably high. The details of written examination, if any, shall be communicated to the candidates in advance.

The interviews will be held at New Delhi only. However, IRCTC reserves the right to conduct interviews at any other place(s) at its sole discretion. The candidates called for interviews will be reimbursed 3 Tier AC fare for the shortest distance or the actual whichever is less. Railway officers, if called for interview should manage their journey by using Railway Privilege Pass.

PROBATION: The candidates selected against direct recruitment will be on probation for a period of one year during which their performance will be reviewed periodically.
