Q.1] a) Fig. 3 shows plan and elevation of a bearing bracket. Draw the left end view of the object. Use first angle method of projection. 08 Marks

b) Attempt any TWO of the following: 12 Marks
i) Draw the projections of a hexagonal pyramid of side of base 30mm and axis 80 mm long, if it is resting on a side of base on H.P. such that its axis is inclined to 600 to H.P. and parallel to V.P.
ii) Draw the projections of a cone of base diameter 50mm and axis 75mm long. It is kept in the first quadrant such that its axis is inclined at 300 to V.P. and parallel to H.P. The apex is towards the observer.
iii) A pentagonal prism of base 30 mm side and axis 75 mm long has an edge of base in V.P. with a rectangular face containing that edge is perpendicular to H.P. and inclined at 45° to V.P. Draw its projections
Q.2] Attempt any TWO of the following: 16 Marks
i) A right circular cone of base diameter 70 mm and axis 90 mm long is standing on its base on H.P. It is cut by a section plane inclined at 600 to H.P. and perpendicular to V.P. bisecting the axis. Draw the development of lateral surface of the truncated cone. Refer Fig. 1
ii) Draw the development of lateral surface of the cylinder standing on its base on
H.P., which is cut by a section plane inclined at 450 to H.P. and perpendicular to
V.P. passing through a point on the axis 35 mm from the top face. Refer figure 2. 08marks
iii) Draw the development of lateral surface of roof in the form of frustum of square pyramid as shown in fig. 3

Q.3] a) Attempt any TWO of the following: 16 Marks
i) A hexahedron of side 50mm side is resting on its base on H.P. with all sides of base equally inclined to V.P. It is cut by a section plane perpendicular to V.P. and inclined to H.P. such that the true shape of the section is a regular hexagon. Draw:
1) Front view 02 Marks
2) Sectional top view 04 Marks
3) True shape of the section 02 Marks
ii) A right circular cone of 50 mm base diameter and axis 80mm long is resting on its base on H.P. It is cut by a section plane inclined at 600 to H.P. and perpendicular to V.P. bisecting the axis. Draw:
1) Front view 02 Marks
2) Sectional top view 04 Marks
3) True shape of section 02 Marks
iii) A pentagonal prism of base side 30 mm and axis 100 mm long is resting on its longer edge on H.P. with its axis parallel to V.P. It is cut by a plane inclined at 400 to V.P. and perpendicular to H.P. passing through a point 35 mm from the left face. Draw:
1) Plan 02 Marks
2) Sectional elevation 04 Marks
3) True shape of section 02 Marks
Q.4] Orthographic front view and top view are shown in figure 4. Draw its Isometric view. 14 Marks
Also construct required isometric scale for above problem. 02 Marks
