Joint Entrance Test-Agri Business Management (JET-ABM) 2011 Admission Process and Important Dates

Selection Process
Those who possess eligible educational qualifications and wish to join PGDMA, must apply for Joint Entrance Test – Agri-Business Management (JET-ABM) – 2011. The three apex level institutions under the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India viz.,
i) National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad,
ii) Chaudhary Charan Singh National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (CCS-NIAM), Jaipur and
iii) National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Hyderabad are running two year Post Graduate Diploma Programmes in Agri-Business Management approved by AICTE. These three institutions have collaborated to conduct a Joint Entrance Test – Agri-Business Management, 2011 (JET-ABM, 2011) for selection of candidates in their respective programmes. Through JET-ABM these institutions intend to build a brand for the increasingly important area of agri-business management. The JETABM provides a most convenient option to the aspiring students to appear for single entrance examination for agri-business management programmes. All applicants fulfilling the eligibility criteria will have to appear for the JET-ABM, 2011 at centres designated for this purpose

Date of start of JET-ABM 2010 01-Jan-2011

Last date for submission of JET-ABM 2010 14-Feb-2011

JET-ABM Examination 27-March-2011

JET-ABM Results 2 or 3 week of April, 2011

Group discussions & Personal Interview 3 or 4 week of April, 2011

Final Results 31-May-2011

Course Commencement July, 2011

Admission Process
The minimum qualification for admission into the programmes is a in any of the following subjects from any Agricultural University or Institution recognized by the ICAR/UGC:
Agri-Business Management/Commercial Agriculture and Agri-Business
Management/ Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation
Agricultural Engineering
Agricultural Information Technology
Dairy Technology
Energy and Environmental Engineering
Food Technology/Food Process Engineering
Veterinary Science
The reservation of seats will be available for OBC, SC, ST and Physically Handicapped
category as per Govt. of India rules.
Bachelor’s Degree
Total Number of Seats: 30 (Thirty)
The students who are going to complete their degree by July, 2011 are also eligible to apply.
