LIST OF COURSES, DURATION AND ENTRY QUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSION TO VARIOUS AFFILIATED COURSES OF NCVT

1.Engineering Trades:

2.Non-Engineering Trades:

03 Cutting & Sewing One One Passed 8th class examination under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent.
04 Stenography English One One 10th Class Pass
05 Stenography Hindi One One 10th Class Pass with Hindi as Compulsory subject
Weightage of 3 credit points will be given to the NCC ‘A’ Certificate holders.


3.Other Courses:

PART A: SCHEME OF TRAINING IN AUTOMOBILE UNDER CENTER OF EXCELLENCE
It consists of broad based basic training. The training is imparted in six modules on uniform rotation for eight weeks each in the following basic modules:
1. Basic fitting and measurements
2. Basic sheet metal work & welding
3. Basic Electrical & Electronics
4. Basic Microprocessor and Computer Operation
5. Basic Petrol & Diesel Engines
6. Basic of Transmission, Suspension, Steering System & Brakes
ELIGIBILITY: 10th pass under 10+2 system
BATCH SIZE: 96 trainees 16 in each module. (UT Pool 82 General Pool 14 seats)

PART B: Advanced Module
The candidate has to select one of the following specialized modules admission to advance training is made twice a year August and February. Each module having duration of 24 weeks.
1. Servicing & over hauling of automobiles (Petrol)
2. Servicing & over hauling of automobiles (Diesel)
3. Auto Electrical, Electronics & Air-conditioning in Automobiles
4. Overhauling of fuel injector system & steering mechanism
BATCH SIZE: 64 trainees 16 in each module.
ELIGIBILITY: The trainee promoted/passed BBBT in Automobiles sector NTC/NAC in Mechanic Motor Vehicle of other relevant trade/diploma in Automobile trade.
