Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test


Latest Notification for APSET-2018 for the Year 2018 will be conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.47 Higher Education (CE) Department for recruitment and promotions of Lectures /Assistant Professors in Degree Colleges as per the University Grant Commission Regulations for the year 2018.


Important Dates :
APSET Notification 18th March 2018
Commencement of Submission of Online Applications 26th March 2018
Last date for Submission of Online Applications Without Late Fee
(Only Registration Fee)
2nd May 2018
With a Late fee of Rs. 1,000 + Registration Fee 10th May 2018
With a Late fee of Rs. 2,000 + Registration Fee 21st May 2018
With a Late fee of Rs. 5,000 + Registration Fee
( Examination centre at Visakhapatnam only)
6th June 2018
Date of examination 1st July 2018


Examination Pattern :

* Paper I :
It shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. Paper-I shall consist of 50 objective type questions. Each question will carry 2 marks.
* Paper II :
It shall consist of 100 objective type questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks.

The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper – I and Paper – II on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet.

NOTE :
The syllabus prescribed by UGC-CSIR and UGC-NET for paper-I and Paper-II without negative marks be adopted for APSET. The Paper II & III are merged to become Paper-II.
